The Hastings and Prince Edward Regiment Pipe Band.

The Hastings and Prince Edward Regiment Pipe band was formed over 25 years ago. It is a volunteer band that serves the music needs of this Canadian Armed Forces Reserve Army Regiment and local communities. Stationed in Peterborough, Ontario it has 21 dressed band members and several students studying the pipes and drums. Wearing the traditional Black Watch tartan kilts and Canadian Armed Forces tunics, the “Hasty P’s” pipe band has attended a wide range of military and civilian engagements each year for close to three decades.
The band is supported by funds from the Hasty P’s regimental Association and public Engagements. The band is led by Pipe Major Robert Stewart, Drum Major Sam Johnston, Pipe Sergeants Robert Thompson, Tammy Hepburn and Drum Cpl Robert Stewart Jr. The Regiment’s motto is “Paratus” meaning “Ready”.
